Importing data from Wordpress

The procedure allows a few steps to change the engine for the site, without downloading a many complexities of migration between the SEO CMS with different paradigms:

  • In the admin panel of WordPress do the database export
  • Copy the file to the root of the site (and rename it to wp.xml)
  • Unpack the root of the site distribution Rumba XML
  • Run import.php and after import, delete it
  • Make the settings (password, e-mail, etc.) in the file data/config.php
  • Make changes to the template file pattern.html
Features of imports:

  • Number of words in the tag cloud in the config.php file is now regulated variable cloud_size
  • For displaying the date and author of the article meets the variable infopage config.php file
  • With variable startpage, static page can be a main page (you must specify its ID)
  • Changes in the import file database from WordPress, by default, it is now reversed.
  • Direct order of the articles - import.php?sort=a
